In partnership with Instrumentl, Get.Grants.Better.® is proud to offer scholarships for our signature training series: "Grantwriting 101" and the “Advanced Grantwriting Masterclass”. These programs are designed to equip nonprofit professionals with the skills and tools needed to write and win grants with confidence. In addition, one lucky winner will have the opportunity to win a 30-second storytelling video provided by Brownieland Pictures.
Who’s eligible?
Emerging nonprofit organizations with annual budgets under $3 million that have at least one program supporting women, children, health, or education.
When is the deadline?
Apply by: September 20, 2025
Winners notified: December 15, 2025
Training begins: January 1, 2026

Are these courses accredited?
Get.Grants.Better.®, a subsidiary of Think and Ink Grant Consulting®, is a provider of grant training courses that have been accepted into the GPCI (Grant Professionals Certification Institute) Accepted Education Program. Full participation in our courses is applicable for 8.5 GPCI Education Point(s) for Get.Grants.Better.® Grant Writing 101 and 9 GPCI Education Point(s) for Get.Grants.Better.® Advanced Grant Writing Masterclass towards acquiring the GPC (Grant Professional Certified) or in maintaining a GPC certification.
GPCI administers the GPC, an accredited certification program that measures an individual’s ability to provide quality grant-related services within an ethical framework. GPCI accomplishes its mission through the identification of grant professionals who display outstanding expertise and ethical practices as measured by a psychometrically valid and reliable assessment tool. What is included in the storytelling video?
- Video length not to exceed 30 seconds.
- Video will be filmed in a single location in one day.
- If the winner is not in the Atlanta metro area, all travel costs will be billed back to the winner.
- Video production will include pre-production (concepting, scripting or writing of interview questions), production (film day, camera package, audio, producer, and director of photography), and post-production (edit of 1 day, 1 round of revisions, basic graphics package, and music and hi-res output).
- Concepts to be presented in an interview style or a scripted video. All concepts to be approved by Brownieland Pictures and must fit the parameters of the guidelines above.
- Any release of the video must include a mention of Brownieland Pictures in marketing materials.

This scholarship is open to emerging nonprofit organizations that are defined as having an annual operating budget of $3 million or less and have at least one program supporting women, children, health, or education.
How many winners will be selected?
Three winners will be selected. If selected, one winner will have the opportunity to receive access to the Get.Grants.Better.® Grant Writing 101 training series, one for the Get.Grants.Better.® Advanced Masterclass training series, and one for the 30-second storytelling video.
How will winners be selected?
All applicants must submit an application on our website. The three highest scoring applications plus the most compelling reason to receive the 30-second storytelling video, will be considered for the awards.
When is the due date?
The deadline to apply is 11:59PM EST on September 20, 2025
When will winners be notified?
Winners will be notified by December 15, 2025
When is the earliest I can start the training?
Training will be available on or before January 1, 2026
